Canva is an app that can be used for creating literally any form of media. This includes but is not limited to slideshows, documents, graphics, graphs, videos, stationary, and even clothing designs. As a former Digital Studies major and current Communications major, I have used Canva for countless assignments. It is a great tool for bringing your creative ideas to life. Canva allows for so much creative freedom that services like Microsoft, Google, etc. cannot offer. I use Canva in my school work mostly when creating slideshows. There are tons of templates available for use as well as blank canvases that allow for full creative control. I also use the app when creating any sort of graph to organize data. The app just has so many uses and is super user friendly and simple to use.
Canva is vital to me in my future career path as well. As somebody who will be looking for a job in social media graphic design or just graphic design in general, this app is a necessity. It is perfect for somebody who is not familiar with complex Adobe apps, but still loves to create. I have created countless infographics using this app and even love making them in my free time. I love playing around with all of the features on Canva and making designs literally just for fun. This platform does an amazing job bringing all of my designs to life. I literally swear by this app; it is a necessity!
I love Canva. You’ve opened up to me so many new ways I can use this app. What I like the most about it is that you don’t have to be a graphic designer to start working with it. It is so easy to understand and utilize.
ReplyDeleteAs somebody who never had the time to dip deeply into the adobe apps for creating/editing my band posters, Canva has been nothing but a godsend for my career so far. Having full creative control on a free app is very hard to come by, an excellent choice of app!
ReplyDeleteI've used Canva several times before and every time I finish I project, I'm always amazed by how good they come out. Canva can make everything look good. It's a great free tool that I will continue to use as long as I'm in school. It's awesome that you can use it to practice for your future career!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! Ive heard about Canva before but I never used it or knew what it was for, but this is awesome. I could 100% use it for my future. I will probably use it soon to make a new resume and even birthday invites for my little sisters party coming up. Thanks for sharing !!

ReplyDeleteI have never used canva before but I am considering using the app for digital media creation after watching this video. Now I have so many creative ideas for new ways to do assignments and create art.I’m not too experienced at digital media creation so it looks helpful that there are templates for us to use. Starting from scratch can be very intimidating. I think you did a good job showing off all of the app’s different features.
ReplyDeleteI honestly love canva. I used it a lot when I was in high school. Canva is one of the best editing websites. It's good for making flyers, presentations, etc. I also love how well you showed off the app as a whole, great job!
